This kitchen was outdated with wallpaper from the early 90's. The owner favored bright rooms with lots of light but wanted something more updated and not boring. So this is what we came up with! Sunshine stripes!

And Sarah and Brad were no exception! They wanted something different for their little Dylan, so we went with something a little preppy but feminine. I also custom painted the artwork in the room. Thanks Sarah!

These cabinets started out solid white (circa 1997) and the client wanted something more sophisticated for the kitchen, and then something different for the built-in's in the eat in kitchen. So here is what we came up with! If you want a change but don't have the budget to install all new cabinets, this is an affordable way to give your kitchen a face lift!

This is the room of a 7 year old little girl who originally wanted purple stripes (much to her mother's dismay) so we met in the middle when I came up with this design which made both of them happy! I was inspired by her bedding which consists of irredescent plum tones. It was also important to develop something that she could grow with so her parents didn't have to worry about changing it anytime soon. All in all, it gives a youthful look with a touch of sophistication.

This was a traditional piece originally, but with a little paint manipulation, it turned into a great piece with lots of character and added a great accent color to the room.

What other Grandmother would let you do a Tuscan Stone finish in her dining room? She is so hip! Thanks Mamaw!

This was all wallpaper to start with... so we went with a Butter Cream in the living room and hallway, and an Antique Green in the dining room to make the most of her "Cottage Chic" decor.

Going with an antique theme, I used two base coats on the top and bottom, distressed the chair rail molding, and used a mix glaze to create the diamond effect. All in all, a perfect combination for a soothing guest room.

That's right. I am starting to expand my talents and creativity to others by starting my own custom painting business! The truth is, many people despise painting a room although they love the outcome. Others just don't know where to begin and don't want to think about the time it's going to take, or in my sister's case- colorblind. Well, this is where I come in- a blonde with a brush. I will paint anything that you pick out for your room(s), or help you pick out colors and schemes, or even design something on my own with different techniques.
